Fire Navajo Nation Board Director Llyod Smith
Do away with the Shiprock Fair and Fair Director Lloyd Smith because the $254,000 the board still owes in salaries, wages and outstanding bills is unacceptable. Lloyd ought to be shamed of himself and needs to step down before this gets ugly. I wish Navajo Nation President would do something already-be our leader and resolve this problem you are our chief executive Mr. Shelly and Mr. Rex Lee Jim.
We need a investigation into these allegation so many people put there time into cleaning and preparing the Northern Navajo Nation Fair. We don’t need something we cannot afford. Do away with the the Navajo Nation Fairs all together-all we get is Trash, horse poop, and more Council Delegates riding horses, its the same old thing year after year.

After being absent from the Shiprock Fair for over 26 years – I was excited to return home for the 100th Anniversary and to my disappointment – it is still the same ole’ thing. I thought the fairgrounds would have been upgraded, more paved roads, the vendors along the road side are shaded and more up to date, but most of all the traffic was hectic. One reason I do not go home to attend the Fairs – it’s the same ole’ thing especially with crooked individuals in charge of it with embezzlement, fraud, and whatever goes along with it. It’s time to clean house and put educated peeps in there!!
