Navajo Nation goes Viva Las Vegas for slots

       Sin City, the home of Casino’s. Recently the Navajo Nation hired Bally’s Technologies Inc. a leader in slots, video machines, casino management, interactive applications, and networked systems for the global gaming industry.

The new gaming technologies will be implemented at the Flowing Water Casino, Northern Edge Casino, and Fire Rock Casino, The Navajo’s mammoth property, Twin Arrows Navajo Hotel & Casino Resort is currently under construction in Flagstaff, Ariz., that is projected to open in the spring of 2013.

“We are dedicated to growing our enterprise for the good of the Navajo people, and as such, we needed a systems partner who shared the same commitment and had the core technology solutions to enable us to evolve our operation,” adding “Bally’s commitment to systems is undisputed, and they have invested in technology that will enable us to take our player-loyalty programs to the next level.” said Derrick Watchman, Chief Financial Officer of the Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise.

According to Laura Reyes, the Director of Corporate Communications for Bally Technologies Inc said, The Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise has signed a master license agreement for Bally systems solutions following a thorough evaluation of all qualified system vendors.

The Navajo Nation chose Bally’s iVIEW Display Manager and Elite Bonusing Suite to add excitement across the along with iVIEW DM and the Elite Bonusing Suite, the also selected Bally’s cutting-edge technology, which includes the latest release of SDS/CMP 12 for Windows; Bally Business Intelligence; CoolSign media management; Bally Command Center for updating iVIEW content from a central location; the TableView real-time table rating and player-tracking system; and Service Tracking Manager, Bally’s award-winning mobile browser-based.

The Navajo Nation says its Northern Edge Navajo Casino will open for business Jan. 16. The 86,000-square-foot casino borders Farmington in northern New Mexico.
