Windows 8 powered tablet coming this Fall

Weekend Sunday Edition | February 26, 2012 | By: NP writer.

Technology giant Hewlett Packard is in the process of putting the final touches to a new Windows 8 powered tablet due out at the end of 2012, announced by HP chief executive Meg Whitman.  The announcement was made by the CEO whilst addressing attendees at a Wall Street Journal conference hosted in Menlo Park, California.

This new tablet will be based on Intel’s technology, here in Arizona Intel has one of the biggest plant located in Chandler. The HP CEO also said his staff will be working on organic growth. “The HP WAY” as reported by Business Week, “I will not feel like I’ve done a good job if my successor is not an internal choice,” Whitman stated.

How will this change the consumers buying habits of Apple, who created the iPad2 recently and with the talks of a possible iPad3 in the works, HP will have it’s race to the best tablet on the market.
