Sen. Jackson praises Shonto Preparatory Technology H.S.

Phoenix, Ariz. — Senator Jack C. Jackson, Jr. released the following statement congratulating Shonto Preparatory Technology High School on its charter renewal for 25 years from the Arizona State Board for Charter Schools.
Senator Jackson attended the recent renewal hearing to express his support along with Shonto Preparatory Schools Superintendent Sharon Singer, board members, administrators, parents and students.
Since 1997, Shonto Preparatory Technology High School has been educating kids in innovative ways and preparing them for success in life while incorporating traditional Diné language and culture, said Sen. Jackson. This school is a crucial resource for our community and I am thrilled that, thanks to the hard work of Superintendent Singer and her team, it will continue to serve our kids into the future.
Shonto, AZ is located in northern part of the Navajo reservation, near the Utah border.
