NAVAJO NATION – On Thursday, Navajo Officials held a press conference in Window Rock to accept a check from the Navajo Gaming Enterprise for $5 million, claiming big returns for the largest indigenous Nation in the U.S.

“Today marks the beginning of a new step into the future for Navajo gaming and our government,” said President Ben Shelly

In 2008, the tribe opened its first ‘Navajo casino’ just east of Gallup, Fire Rock Casino, which was recently almost robbed by an armed ‘BB’ gun men.

In 2010, Flowing Water Casino kicked off and in January of this year, Northern Edge Casino opened its doors. Both Navajo Casinos sit in the San Juan County boundaries.

“I would like to thank the Council and President for working with us to restructure these gaming loans and making all of this possible,” said NNGE Chairman Quincy Natay.

The mammoth Casino for the Tribe is still under construction; Twin Arrows Casino which will sit near flagstaff- that project is expected to open August 2013.

Shelly said, “Twin Arrows is going to be a casino resort unlike any other on the Navajo Nation,”

Navajo officials say the money will be used distributed to local Chapters, economic development, and education.

The earliest memories I have of cars is my Father had a Hudson whilst I do not think it had been a Hornet . I might say a 1948 or 49 4 door dark colored and using a light colored interior . It absolutely was already the mid 50s and he replaced it by using a early 50s Buick Road Master he bought from my uncle as he had just purchased the residence we grew up in .br /Years later I would determine that Hudson was State with the Artwork for your time and his was also Expensive as he bought it new . Also the Hornets had Quite a Racing Legacy .
