AURORA, CO – A shoot out at a mid night release of the NEW Batman Movie, The Dark Nigh Rises leaves 12 people dead and 30 injured -  people in shock. The shooter was identified as James Holmes, 24 who is custody. According to authorities he was armed with a high powered automatic rifle (AK47 and tear gas)

witnesses told CNN, they had to crawl out of the theater, Holmes shot whoever tried to leave the theater. Aurora Police searched Holmes apartment for explosives and say they do not know the cause of the shooting or the motive.

The shooting took place 3 blocks from the Police Station- President Obama is expected to have a press conference about the shooting.
