Former U.S. President Bill Clinton to spoke at the Democratic National Convention. Mr. Clinton slammed Republicans for their far right ideas.
In 1992, Mr. Clinton visited Shiprock, NM. The small town is located in the northern part of the reservation.
Back then state Rep. Margarett Campbell, a Democrat praised Mr. Clinton for his relationship with the Native American communities, “Indian people prospered more under his administration than any other,”
The Navajo President, Ben Shelly is also in attendance at the convention in Charlotte, NC.
