Two Barbers donated their time to cut hair on the Navajo Nation
Random Acts of Kindness sheds onto the Navajo Nation
TEEC NOS POS, NM – Though haircut prices have spiked, two barbers from the Indigenous Salon spent 9 hours cutting hair for the disadvantage in a small community just west of Farmngton, NM on the Navajo reservation.
On Feb. 20 Beatrice Redfeather and Jonathan Begay shared some expertise by offering a free hair cut to local community members and the disadvantaged.
“It was such a heartfelt gesture on their part to do such an awesome act of kindness. Together they cut over 25 people’s hair.” Said Cedric Tsosie from the Teec Nos Pos Chapter House.
Adding, “All I heard were kind words from the recipients as they left the Chapter House. They did not accept any type of compensation.” He said.
According to Tsosie, the barbers were not paid for their time. He said, “We were truly blessed to have had them visit the Teec Nos Pos Community and do this act of kindness.”
The Indigenous Salon is located in Shiprock. To schedule an appointment, call them at 505.368.4712

Are you sure they are not stealing Indian hair so they can make wigs?? LOL!!! everyone’s crazy about Indian hair.
I hate people who turn positive things into a negative.. It shows a lot about their character. These two people spent a whole day cutting elderlies’ hair without thinking about money and some perosn made this a negative. SMH.. some people’s kid.
I did free hair cuts for back to school , for years ,really enjoyed it
