NORTHERN ARIZONANS HONOR NAVAJO MARINE

FLAGSTAFF – As Staff Sgt. Jonathan D. Davis body passed through Flagstaff today, hundreds gathered by the street side to salute and honor the Arizona U.S. Navajo Marine.

According to the Department of Defense, Davis was killed in action while serving in Afghanistan. According to family and friends close to the Davis family he will be honored and buried in Kayenta, Ariz on March 2. The family will hold a private funeral service for Davis and a public reception will be held to honor the fallen Marine. Davis was a member of the Navajo Nation and leaves behind a wife and a son.
