Navajo Nation beloved country singer dies at 81

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Country legend George Jones dies at age 81 in Nashville, TN. According to his public relations firm. CNN reports, Jones was in the hospital sense April 18, with a ‘fever and irregular blood pressure.’

The country legend songs can still be heard over Navajo radio stations like KNDN in Farmington.

George Jones once said, “I sing from my heart, I love country music and I love the people that respond to it. You never see yourself as others do but I’ve always been proud to be part of country music and I hope that the format is proud of me.”

Jones had his tour final tour all planned out called the Grand Tour, he had 44 stops.
