Below are the rules that apply to all the prize draws that appear on the site. In addition to these rules there may be special terms & conditions which are relevant to individual prize draws, this will appear as a link on the relevant prize draw.
The Navajo Post is a news site and unless otherwise stated all prize draws are open to all residents aged 18 or over.
Our prize draws will be promoted over thenavajopost.com only and our facebook page.
Certain prize draws and promotions, which are clearly indicated, allow multiple entries. Otherwise, only one entry per person per prize draw can be accepted unless otherwise stated.
Persons connected with The Navajo Post or any of the prize draw sponsors are ineligible.
Winners will be selected at random by computer except where stated in the individual prize draw special terms and conditions.
Brief details of winners will be included on the ‘Winners page’ of the thenavajopost.com web site, following receipt of confirmation. Winners of prizes may be required to take part in further promotional activities.
As soon as we get 3,000 Likes on our Facebook wall, we will send all the prize entrants from the competitions. Two weeks later we receive the winners’ names and an email is sent to the winners informing them of their win. If you are a winner, simply follow the instructions on the email within 30 days of receiving it and your prize will be sent to you within 28 days.
Prizes must be claimed within 60 days of each draw. Unclaimed prizes will be void.
Void prizes may be included in the ‘Second Time Lucky’ prize draw where users will be required to complete a short questionnaire to gain entry.
All prizes are subject to availability should any prize be unavailable, a prize of similar price or specification will be substituted. In some circumstances a cash equivalent will be offered where stated in the individual prize draw special terms and conditions.

Navajo Boy, No this latino should win the Ipad because #1. I am a Geek, I love Apple products but I cannot afford one. I would really like to win this for my christmas gift, I did not get anything…=(

As technology is advancing too fast with little notices to learn the new devices, I feel this would be a great opportunity to learn how to navigate on the iPad2, while browsing Navajo Post and other Native related sites, which would be beneficial to expand my knowledge, while conducting research online. I need to get up to date and proudly promote Navajo Post to other users.
Been working on Navajo games and Navajo language software every nite. If I had a Ipad2,I would enjoy some navajo music and plus videos on the Ipad before I go to sleep. Whoever wins your lucky. Only Navajo Post can do this for us. If you win download my games on ipad and see if it works.

I think I should win the iPad because I have been through many tough situations in my life. This year, as a high school senior, I have not let those tough and awful situations define who I am, act, or what my future will become. As a Native American, I plan to stay drug and alcohol free as it has torn my family apart. By winning this iPad, I will be better able to help my fellow Navajos as I intend to double major in Nursing and Agricultural Communications. I have a strong passion that has come from my roots and also from what the Lord has challenged me with. With this device, I can communicate with the world to educate and learn about my culture and studies. I hope you all choose the best person who truly deserves a device that will further them in their life’s achievements! Thank You and God Bless!
Well I don’t think I should win; but it would be nice. Year around I try by best to help my Navajo People. Churches, tribal government, and the community are some of my main focuses. My heart is helping the Navajo youth reach their full potential; which many have trouble with due to countless negative influences that surround them. It would be very beneficial if I was being paid for my services but I’m a volunteer. If I were to win. It would be used to help me in going back to school and helping the community.
