The day after a razor close election, President Obama comes back as the President, he was Re-elected winning early in key battle states like Virginia, Ohio, New Hampshire, and Florida remains too close to call. Both Romney and Obama needed 270 to be President, Obama topped over 300.

As for Mitt Romney, he gave a concession speech after waiting for the last votes to be counted and praised his supporters and campaign staff for a great run, “This is a time of great challenges for America, and I pray that the president will be successful in guiding our nation.” adding, “Thank you, and God bless America. You guys are the best. Thank you so much. Thank you. Thanks, guys.”

What does this mean or Indian Country, Well supporters of Obama well argue he has been more in touch with Native America then any other President in time, next to Bill Clinton who in the early 90′s visited the Navajo Nation and pardoned a Navajo leader, Peter McDonald who was a former Chairman of the Tribe.

But Native American Against Obama, a GOP organization claiming to be ‘Native Republicans’ has said, “The problem is, it is time for Obama and Congress to stand up and fix the mess they have caused. Millions of people are without unemployment” and also said he needs to stop blaming former President Bush.

In the past four years, President Obama has hosted Indian leaders from across the country in Washington discussing issues close to the indigenous. According to his reelection website it said, ‘The President signed into law the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which included more than $3 billion in direct funding for Indian Country that.’ adding, ‘The Obama Administration is also taking steps to provide the most significant and comprehensive reforms to Indian land leasing in 50 years.’

Mr. Obama also signed the Affordable Care Act into law in March 2010, he also permanently authorized the Indian Health Care Improvement Act. The Obama campaign said, he made good on his word to work towards improving the gaping health care disparities faced by Native Americans and would like to improve Tribal education.

As for local races here in the State, Paton and Kirkpatrick from congressional district one are still being counted. Who got the endorsement from the Navajo Tribe. At this point, it is not clear what exactly Mr. Obama will do for Native America in the next fours year, Tribal leaders anticipate more information as time goes on.
