Clahchischilliage told the Farmington Daily Times, “I am so relieved. This is a big break through. To beat a 14-year seniority state representative, it says a lot,” said Clahchischilliage.
After Begaye’s mishaps with his spending receipts on his travel, it seemed to all fall apart. Begaye held his seat since 1999, he was recently caught lying to TV reporters in New Mexico, who questioned and uncovered some mishaps in his travel expenses.
