TEMPE – ASU ‘undie run’ is set to kick off it’s annul tradition and it’s all for a good cause. In order to run with the undies, you have to donate 2 cans of nonperishable items.

ASU has been a preferred University of the Navajos and has attracted Native Americans from all over. There are many annual traditions that are held at ASU and it’s curriculum seems very diverse for all.

The founding fathers of this yearly tradition spans back to 2008 and was started by Rubin Green, Max Mendoza, and the Undie Run. According to the undie run website, ‘the planning process was chaotic, but the night of the event turned out to be a huge success. Over 5,000 students showed up at the Fulton Center on the last day of classes ready to take off their clothes for a good cause.’

This years event is scheduled for April 30 and will be held on the ASU campus from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Alcohol is prohibited and will feature DJ Sterling and Will See. For more information, you can visit http://www.asuundierun.com
